Apple iPhone X price is going to be increased in India after the announcement of Union Budget 2018-2019. Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone7, iPhone7 plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus will also face the price hike. The price rise in iPhones is due to the hike in the import duty on mobile phones from 15 percent to 20 percent as per the union Budget 2018-2019. Currently, all these iPhones are being assembled out of India. Apple is assembling the iPhone SE in India, therefore, iPhone SE prices are unaffected by this price change.
Apple had already increased the price of iPhones in India in December 2017 after the hike in customs duty from 10 percent to 15 percent. This affected all the iPhones which are getting assembled outside of India. Again iPhone SE was unaffected.
But, what are the new prices of iPhones in India? Here is the full list of prices of iPhones in India after the Union Budget 2018-2019.
Apple iPhone X
Apple iPhone X was launched at price Rs.89,000. Apple iPhone X will now have a price tag of Rs.95,390 for 64GB variant which is up from Rs.92,430 price, which was in December 2017. The bigger variant that is 256GB will cost for Rs.1,08,930 in India from the Rs.1,05,720, a hike of around 3.2 percent.
Apple iPhone X is the Apple flagship phone having the amazing features like Face ID function, Animojis, edge to edge Super Retina Display and dual rear camera with IOS on both sensors.
Apple iPhone X gets its power from A11 Bionic Chip.
Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
Apple iPhone 8 will now start at Rs.67,940 for 64GB variant in India from the Rs.66,120 price of December 2017. Apple iPhone 8 launched at Rs.64,000 for the 64GB variant in September last year. The bigger 256GB variant of iPhone 8 will now cost for Rs.81,500 which is up from Rs.79,420.
The iPhone 8 Plus variant which is bigger than iPhone 8 has a 5.5-inch display and dual rear camera will be available at Rs.77,560 which was Rs.75,450 in December 2017. The bigger 256GB variant of iPhone 8 will be now available for Rs.91,110 instead of the previous price of Rs.88,750.
There is approximately 2.8 percent hike on both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
These two iPhones are also powered by A11 Bionic Chip, same as of iPhone X. Also, have glass and metal bodies and support for wireless charging.
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
Apple iPhone 7 will now start at Rs.52,370 in India for 32GB variant which was earlier available at Rs.50,810. The hike for iPhone 7 32GB variant is around 3.1 percent. The 128GB variant of iPhone 7 will cost Rs.61,560 instead of the earlier price tag of Rs.59,910.
The bigger in size iPhone 7 Plus having the dual rear camera like iPhone8 and iPhone X series, will be available for Rs,62,840 in India up from Rs.61,060. The 128GB variant of the variant of iPhone 7 Plus will also get hiked compared to the earlier price of Rs.70,060.
Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
Apple iPhone 6s will now starts at Rs.42,900 in India for 32GB variant and Rs.52,100 for 128GB variant. Apple iPhone 6s Plus having the bigger 5.5-inch display will be available for rs.52,240 for the 32GB variant.
Apple iPhone 6
Apple iPhone 6 will now be available for Rs.31,900 in India up from the earlier price of Rs.30,780. Apple iPhone 6 was launched in 2014.
Apple Watch Series 3
Apple Watch Series 3 GPS 38mm will be now available for Rs.32,380 in India, which was having an original price tag for Rs.29,900. Whereas the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS 42mm will now cost for Rs.34,410 compared to the original price of Rs.31,900
Apple iPhone SE
Apple iPhone SE is currently being assembled in India. So the official price of iPhone SE in India will remain the same. The 32GB variant of iPhone SE will cost for Rs.26,000 whereas the 128GB variant will remain at Rs.35,000.
So this is the price change in the Apple iPhones and Watches. These prices are going to be implemented on and after 5 February 2018.
